This comment is for the uploader matrilinear, thank you so very, very much for including the scene for the upcoming episode! Very, Very few uploaders include the scenes from the next episode, they stop right after the credits end. I think I'm not the only one who likes to see the scenes from upcoming episodes. I hope matrilinear continues with this trend!
Schrunsekris, ooops my bad, I will be more careful from now on. My dad was 24 years older than my mother so I have no problem with that. But there isn't chemistry between the 2 characters and it's not a believable relationship with out good chemistry. Acting is great though.
yumyummy20, I wasn't referring to his sister, I was referring to Ben's wife. They don't have the chemistry and I agree that there is more chemistry between him and the doctor. Melissa Roxburgh's (the sister to Ben) acting is still a little rough, but her acting has gotten better since the first episode. Her character seems to carry a lot of anger and that is distracting from her character.
I like the concept of this drama. Am I the only one who feels there is no "on screen" Chemistry between Ben and Grace Stone? They just don't seem believable and the casting person dropped the ball on who protray's Grace. She is a fine actress but all wrong for the part. Because a lack of chemistry between the two, I'm giving it a lower rating.
It was better than I thought it would be. I stopped watching "Castle" after the 3rd season because it was getting predictable which many American crime drama's are. Now Great Britain knows how to make crime dramas and unlike American crime drama's, I can't figure out who the real killer is in the first 5 minutes! The Rookie is a different concept and it will be interesting to see it develop. But he's to old for old for Lucy Chen (Melissa O'Neil) and there really isn't any chemistry between them. He's old enough to be her dad for goodness sake's.
Jubal (the guy who talks loud) is played by Jeremy Sisto. Jeremy was in the drama "Law & Order" and played a detective. It appears there are lot of people in the room with him and I guess he talks loud so everyone can hear him. I am rather surprised that he has taken on a "smaller role" in this drama so maybe at some point his character will develop over time.
I just watched Chicago PD and I was rather lost! I thought it might be a crossover with Chicago Med. But then I saw the comments and I too don't understand why CPD is uploaded before CF! I think some of the uploaders are in Canada and they air these dramas earlier than here in the US.
I had to watch this episode on a different website because all links kept buffering!!! I liked this first episode and it is interesting to say the least. But, I fear NBC won't give it a chance if the ratings aren't good. I want to think maybe time travel of some sort or they're in another dimension., alternate universe? This drama kind of has the "Lost" vibe about it and I liked the drama "Lost" even though I really didn't understand the last episode at all!
At first I thought surely that can't be Sean Penn! He is a very good actor but my goodness he looks older than Mick Jagger and Mick is 75 and Sean is 58! I was really looking forward to seeing how or what happens on the way to Mars. Big disappointment! This is all about Tom and his relationship with his daughter.........I've watched 3 episodes and I think I've seen enough. And it's not Sean's fault either, his acting is great in this drama!
