I'm glad I read the leaks and was prepared for the ending, haha. I had plenty of time to convince myself it's not that bad. And I really don't think it's that bad. The ending makes plenty sense to me. If you view it as something that happened in season 10. But we didn't get a season 10 or 9. It needed more time and development. I do think this is similar to what Martin wanted for his ending. I can buy this ending. I like that Jon went North(I believe Martin has always intended this) and love that Arya went West. Bran being king is odd, though. I'd hoped there would no longer be kings or queens. Also, poor poor Drogon. I'm sad for him. Hope he finds happiness.
first, I don´t think that Martin will be able to satisfy all of his readers aswell. I personally liked this ending pretty much and I suspected Bran to be king in the end. Jon or Dany needed to die and after the last episode where Dany became herself everything she hated - a tyrant ruling "her" people with fear - it was pretty much clear that Jon needed to be the one ending her. Tyrion staying the right hand also great solution because he grew wiser through all the seasons and learned, aswell as Sansa. In the end everyone of the kids is where he/she wanted or expected to be... Jon up in the North with the Wildlings - where he was the happiest inbetween, Sansa is Queen of the North - where she always wanted to be, ruling in her parents name, without an idiot by her side, Bran is king of the 6 kingdoms - which he had already forseen for himself - but he just leaves the others alone at the table and "looking" for the Drogon, so basically doing what he likes best - seeing through animals eyes, Arya is on an adventure trip - what she always wanted aswell.........and Drogon is finally free and can do what he wants.... so why the hell are you all so pissed of about this ending????
They are not ending all dc show.... And it's not an happy ending not for all character.. they are doing the crisis on infinite earth an only arrow will end after that they even have a new arroverse tv show comming Batwoman so it's not ending..Why are you even watching this anyway? Actually don't anwser you already did and your answer did'nt make sense XD
A good writer (like Martin) does not contradict his previous writing, does not rush the pace, does not leave gaping plot holes, and does not have characters change personalities randomly. The net is full of angry viewers--including professional writers and major new outlets--pointing out not a few, but dozens and dozens of examples where D&D (with no more of Martin's books to go by) went wrong. (One of the biggest is why the hell Daenerys didn't just take the three dragons south as soon as she arrived in Westeros, since they were apparently UNBELIEVABLY more powerful than previously shown.) The dissatisfaction with the ending is far more widespread and justified than that with previous hit shows. This show was THE preeminent show of this decade, and the overwhelming majority of those who watched--cutting across all divisions of class, creed, sex, and politics--think that D&D's final episodes FAILED. READ (OR GO ON YOUTUBE TO HEAR) SOME OF THESE CRITICS BEFORE YOU JUST DISMISS THEM.
Oh so happy little ending, and the beginning of the end about time to end all the DC show like this trash can of a show. Start over and do it right by the comics for once DC, this is your reset button don't blow it. "DC is like hold my beer, lets make the twilight vamp bot bat man" and everyone face palm, and walk away shaking their heads. Oh well maybe in another decade they may get past this, or not who knows.
It is a story written not by your hand nor mine but by one who has a tail he wishes to tell. So we read it and color it with our own views and wants and needs and then get disappointed that it didn't turn out how we wanted it to. Well that's funny because, as it was said everyone loves a good story and we have stuck with this one from the start. Through all the ups and down some good most bad but a good story none the less. Would i had done things different? of course i would so would everyone else and i would bet no two would be the same ether. You can not please everyone and all are a critic but none are the writers or have written other wise if you and yours was so great then you would be a writer and not doing what you are right now reading what another has written.
i was honestly ready for jon's death. the most satisfying moment was jon stabbing dany. i never liked her but i did feel alittle bad for her after all her journey but the woman she became as she grew up had this end destined for her. the starks suffered the worst and finally get what they deserved through all their long separate journeys. my only wish was ned stark to be there for bran and sansa's cornoration. i really really need a maisie spinoff. where she went? and reached. all her adventures. also i missed jaqen h'ghar this seasoon, but this episode most of all. overall more stisfying than most of the season. the first 5 episodes were a complete disapointment but now knowing it all led to this, i am very very satisfied.<3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Never read the books so not sure how it ended but i hope it was better than this. Most of its acceptable but the fact everyone glossed over Snow...you know, THE RIGHTFUL KING. TO MAKE BRAM KING...BRAM? THE LAST 8 YRS SEEM WASTED ON A STORY WITH A HALF ASS ENDING. EVERYONE TURNS ON EACHOTHER AT THE DROP OF A HAT, i want to believe that real people would not butcher a city of women n children but this sadly represents the true nature of mankind. The writer however is an ass for refusing to give a happy heroic ending to what WAS an EPIC TALE!
Tyrion says, "There is nothing in the world more powerful than a good story." For 6 seasons, Martin's GoTh gave us one; in season 7 D&D gave us only a so-so one; in season 8 D&D gave us part of a good one, but mostly a TERRIBLE one. The laughter of the nobles of Westeros at the notion of giving the people (peasant fans) what they want is D&D's Freudian slip; the nobles (the writers who actually never have written anything significant) know so much better. I think of all that was right--all the hundreds of actors, prop-masters, trainers, filmers, etc. doing their best--and then of how fitting it is that Bran the Broken (Bran the Totally Unexplained & Irrelevant) ends up as king, since in the end that's what this show became--BROKEN--by the rushed, juvenile writing of two SCHLEPPERS who will never admit that they did so. Totaly STUPID ENDING, The Monitor reserects the villain, after all that? The pathetic loser from 2 an a half men as Lex is the biggest joke of the series, he does his best but hes not lex, inspires ridicule not fear.
1 example is, the dagger disappeared from reverse flash (who ceased to exist back in season 1, then was revived with his original body God knows how without Eddie reappearing and then he got his new body again) in the last moment before his execution, despite it not existing for past 20 years.
They screwed up everything about time travel in this show. They literally pick what changes (and when) based on nothing. It makes me miss 12 monkeys (syfy show) where they did that much much better (although not perfect) or even the single season frequency. In the flash, time travel is a joke.
I watched Catch 22 from verystream 720p MP4s. Each was about 1/2G, took about 2min to DL, and looked & sounded okay on bigscreen. (Vidoza files were a little larger, but took 10x as long to DL.) The streaming was also smooth. So it looks like verystream may be openload's lovechild; all that's missing are 1080p's and MKVs.
@sswarlock (I'm assuming first in is the one who added these) THANKS. For those who don't know the 1961 book or the 1970 movie, this has dark humor (like MASH) and is told in a kind of stream-of-consciousness order. The acting is really good (a lot of star power), but the whole thing falls just a little flat, probably because what shocked 50-60 years ago seems tame today. But for those who have served in the military, the bs is still the same (cue Bob Seger...)
I'm not a big fan of sitcoms (my favorite is and always will be MASH) but this sitcom was good and refreshing and it too, has been canceled. This sitcom I feel depicted the 70's better than That 70's Show. I was a teen in the 70's and this sitcom almost hit the nail on the head. I like it a lot better than the Conner's!
I can't believe this wonderful drama has been canceled!!!!!!!!!!!!! What are they thinking? For the People is a lot better than the new drama The Code! The actors in For the People are great for being young but I can't say that about the actors in The Code! I watched one episode of TC and knew I didn't want to watch the next episode(s).

Based on the books by Kass Morgan, this show takes place 100 years in the future, when the Earth has been abandoned due to radioactivity.
